It is the desire of Trinity to maintain an environment in which children can learn. A student's dress and grooming must not disrupt the educational learning process or interfere with the maintenance of a positive learning environment. Part of the environment is appropriate dress.

The following are not acceptable:

  • Worn, torn, baggy/oversized or dirty clothing
  • Clothing that drags on the floor
  • Pants that reveal any portion of the undergarment or skin

Additional guides:

  • Tops/shirts must completely cover the entire midriff during normal activities
  • Jewelry or accessories must be modest and not be a distraction
  • Additional body piercing (aside from earrings), tattoos and other body ornamentation are not acceptable. 
  • Hair is to be neat, clean and groomed in natural color tones. 
  • Caps and hats may only be worn outdoors.

All students, beginning in Kindergarten, are expected to dress in appropriate school uniform that conforms to school policy.  Students in preschool are excluded from uniform dress, however, they must conform to a dress code that is within the schools acceptable guidelines.

** No logo, design, stripe, color banding, decoration, or writing of any kind will be allowed on tops, blouses, shirts, sweaters, vests, or fleece. Trinity logos are acceptable. Bottom clothes such as pants, shorts, skorts, skirts or Capri pants may have a small pocket type label only.

Girls Attire Guidelines K-8

Sweaters Crew Neck Cardigan or V-Neck
NOTE: A blouse, polo or turtleneck may be worn under the sweater.		 Any solid colors. NO LOGOS.
Fleece Pullover Fleece ¼ Zip or Full Zip Jacket or Vest
NOTE: A blouse, polo or turtleneck may be worn under the article.		 Any solid colors. NO LOGOS except Trinity Logos.
Pants Twill or Corduroy Pleated or Flat Front (Uniform Style Pants)
NOTE: NO CARGO STYLE, LEGGINGS OR SKINNY LEGGED PANTS		 Solid Khaki, Solid Navy, or Solid Black.
Shorts Twill Pleated or Flat Front Shorts. Must be at least finger-tip length.
NOTE: NO CARGO STYLE SHORTS (Shorts may be worn in August, September, October, April, May and June ONLY.)		 Solid Khaki, Solid Navy, or Solid Black. NO LOGOS.
Capri Twill Capri Solid Khaki, Solid Navy, or Solid Black
Skirt & Skort Twill Skirt or Skort Solid Khaki, Solid Navy, or Solid Black
Polo Dress Jersey Knit or Pique– Short or Long Sleeve Any solid colors, NO LOGOS
Jumper Twill Solid Khaki, Solid Navy, or Solid Black
Tights/Nylons Solid colored tights or nylons must be worn under skirt, dress or jumper. Solid white, Solid Khaki, Solid Navy, or Solid Black
Shoes Heel height about 2 inches or less. Tennis or gym shoes, dress shoes, sandals with heel straps are required in gr. K-4.
Accessories Any accessory (socks, jewelry, hair accessories, etc.) which becomes a distraction to learning may be asked to be removed at the teacher’s discretion.

Boys Attire Guidelines K-8
