Handwriting – Students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade use
D’Nealian Handwriting curriculum published by Scott Foresman. This is the original continuous stroke handwriting program. It is based on a few simple connecting strokes that children use to write in cursive. Students are taught cursive handwriting beginning in 3rd grade.

Health – Students in 5th through 8th grade use the health curriculum
called “Teen Health” published by McGraw Hill. Students are engaged in relevant topics, real-world, hands-on activities and interactive multimedia resources.

Math – In Kindergarten through 6th grade, students use “Math in
Focus” :Singapore Math published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. “This program empowers students to develop critical-thinking skills, positive attitudes, and the confidence to persevere – setting the stage for achievement.” 

Reading/English – Students in Kindergarten through 6th grade use
“Journeys” published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. This program is an all-encompassing English language arts program. Curriculum introduces literature and informational texts used to acquire foundational skills for developing mastery of speaking, listening and writing. 

Students in 7th and 8th grade use “Collections” published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. “Collections” provides a multi-faceted print and digital approach that engages students in traditional anthology making it relevant for them today.

Religion – Students in Preschool through 8th grade use “One in
Christ” published by Concordia Publishing House. Each grade level is set up with age appropriate key concepts and stories from the Bible.

Science – Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade use “Inspire
Science” published by McGraw Hill. This model offers a comprehensive and fun way to cultivate curiosity while inspiring our future innovators, visionaries, and inventors. Students are challenged to Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate.

Students in 6th – 8th grades use “Integrated iSCIENCE” published by McGraw Hill Education. Students study physics, chemistry, earth science, astronomy, and biology. Chapters provide basic concepts with key ideas and reveal how the science disciplines are interrelated. This inquiry-based curriculum provides active, hands-on explorations concepts.

Social Studies – Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade use “My
World Social Studies” by Pearson. This curriculum brings to life stories from the past and engages students in being thoughtful, literate citizens. Lessons promote inquiry processes, collaboration and communication skills.

Students in 6th grade study the Early Ages of World History.

Students in 7th and 8th grade study American History.

Spanish – Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade take Spanish
as a class in their regular day. We use “Autentico” Spanish curriculum published by Savvas, in our 6th through 8th grades.
