Meet Our Comfort Dog, Zippy
Zippy is a trained Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog at Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Roselle, IL. She interacts with people at churches, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, events and in disaster response situations. Zippy is a friend who brings a calming influence and allows people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them. Zippy can be seen welcoming our preschoolers on Monday mornings, roaming the halls during the week, attending chapel on Wednesdays and sharing stories with the children in the library. Zippy attends many of our events, or special happenings during the year, and can also be spotted waiting at the door for a goodbye hug on the way out of school.
